Diane Pavelko and I just ate at the Settebello in Salt Lake City. I'd say the flavor was right on the money but the crust was too dense and soggy.

The PERFECT PIZZA?
It's been a while, but I finally found a perfect pizza Margherita that really tasted 100% like Napoli. This one was in the unlikely locale of Henderson, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas in a place called "Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana." And the place is certified by the VPN (Verace Pizza Napoletana Association), although I been to some VPN places like A16 in San Francisco, where the pizza wasn't too authentic. But this one was spot-on perfect. There are other Settebello pizza places, so this might be small chain, but the one in Henderson, NV, has it down to a science.

Sounds like we did live there at the same time. We initially lived in Lago too. Same subdivision as Mike and Billy Seals, Scott White, Dana Christ., the Alteries (Sp?) (Fred, Steve..). Any of those names ring a bell?

Hey Ed, I was there in 70 to 73. Like I said before, nothing personal to anybody. I just didn't hang out a lot, just went to school and came home to band practice in the basement. I was way the hell out in Lago Patria at first, and then we moved to Parco Azzurro. I should look at the yearbook to jog my brain cells..

I got no idea who you people are. You went to school where I went to school. I only had 5 or 6 good friends. I ignored everyone else. Why should I fly to Austin or where ever to see people I never meet or knew? Ughh.

Actually, most people we ever meet we don't know who the heck they are. Also, you can have a close family that really don't know who the heck you are. So actually the only one that really knows...is you. Many of us military brats had some very interested experiences, we shared in a community even though we didn't look at it that way back then. In rediscovering and getting to know yourself more you CAN choose to stay present or go back. Vai! Yep why go to a gathering like the reunion, simply community and basically have a really flocking good time. That is priceless. Maybe you'll meet someone that does remember you. Nothing is ever personal unless one chooses it to be. In fact I have never wanted to go to Texas either. And that's my cinque lira ! Peace

FORGET THOSE NEW FIAT 500s!
Instead of getting one of those all so trendy new Fiat 500s, try something like this, which would be a lot more fun and a whole lot cheaper: I found this totally restored 1966 Alfa Romeo Spider. Yeah, it's only a two seater (and the 500 is "supposedly" a 4-seater (assuming your back seat passengers are less than two years old), but this sucker rocks and I'm sure it's a lot more fun to drive. Anyway, here's the link in case you're in a shopping mood: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GIULIA-SPIDER-MATCH-NORMALE-RESTORED-RUNS-DRIVES-EXCELLENT-GIULIETTA-63-64-65-/320934610010?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4ab931845a#v4-42
