 | I could hit 100 kph going DOWN via Petrarca. Going up was another story. With a passenger on the back, I could just barely make it up the steep lower section. |
Comment History | Man, did we look like dorks back then or what! |
 | Wow. i remember the days riding on my Moto Guzzi 50cc back in 68-70 at a 100Kph. Those were the days my friends! 13 and street legal - lol! |
 | Actually had a Moto Guzzi 50 there. It was a blast! Where and how I fell in love with riding. |
 | Moto Guzzis were cool, even the 50cc ones. Ducatis were cool. Anything with 125cc was way cool. Motoms were not cool. But they were cooler than a moped, and cooler than a Vespa. At least that's how we saw it. As for the clothes, we moved to Napoli from Albuquerque with a 6 month stop in Norfolk. Albuquerque style was West Coast surfer, about 2 years late - hence the hairstyle, jacket and pants. The penny loafers I picked up in Norfolk, where the rest of my clothes were roundly mocked - Norfolk style was East Coast preppie. |
 | But if you wait long enough, those dorky glasses, pants, jacket, hairstyle, shoes, helmet and (one-step-above-a-moped) bike all become groovy retro cool! Unfortunately, i just don't think we've waited long enough... (Sorry, John) |
Original Post | Ok guys and gals... let 'er rip. Remember, this is high school. No need to NOT be cruel. |
