 | Patrizia Sammartino is well known to a number of the members of this group. She was with us in Naples, and attended the exact same Afsouth Teen Club that everyone else did. Her banishment from this group is an act of injustice and gratuitous cruelty. I don't give a good god damn what anybody thinks of her or her opinion, she has a rightful place here just like anyone else. She's attempted to defend herself against unmerited attack and disparagement from what can only be described as a group of mean girls. I don't like mean girls, and I don't like authoritarian behavior from self-appointed "hall monitors". This may be a closed group, but it doesn't have to be a closed-minded one. Now do the honorable thing, and apologize for this highhanded and cruel behavior. |
Comment History  | Who I am is the person who started this group and by default, the administrator. Not a job I ever liked an one I like less now. I'm also the one who gets all the complaining private messages that you don't see. God help me, I also had to read the fight that started all of this, that consisted of over 200 destructive comments. I deleted it but the same person stated the same fight again. I thought, and many others did as well, that this hostility was hi-jacking the group. So I did what I did. I'm not trying to be the sherif or the censor, that's just what the admin job is. Authoritarian bullshit -- really? If I was a censor I would have deleted both your and Brian's pejorative comments long ago. Who do you think you are, Thomas? If you don't like the group, tough shit. Leave. Start your own. It's easy. | Happy Mothers Day All we all have a voice and we should not exclude each other Patti is a lovely lady and if she has her own opinion i imagine she earned it. We all have had such a variety of experiences that does not mean we all like the same so just enjoy everyday and be happy! |
