| Yes, but those are older kids, many are troubled kids, & many have special needs. |
Comment History | Get REAL Mel,we still have orphanages we still have kids in foster homes. Many of these kids spend their entire childhood without adoption. I have no problem supporting these children. I wish there were fewer of them but Mel you can't pretend they don't exist. |
| Well Charles, I don't believe that is really a problem. The wait for adoption is about 5yrs last I heard. I don't believe there are any unwanted babies. Many people are willing to adopt them |
| Mel, are you willing to support those lives saved until they are 18? How about the many thousands unwanted babies are you willing to have your taxes going to their support? I don't know how rough or how easy it might have been for your mom or Audrey but it almost impossible for many women. |
| Audrey, same thing happened to my Mom. My dad split leaving her with three kids to raise all alone. I don't agree with your "you'd have to walk in those shoes..." comment. IMO, taking an innocent human life is just not the right approach for fixing a problem caused by choices made between two consenting adults. Take care! |
| I appreciate that comment Mel, but I was one of those women left to raise 2 children on my own (two children that I "chose" to have). I suppose that you'd have to walk in those shoes to accept the open mind thinking of "right to choose". Since that will never happen, it's a conversation I don't easily have with the male population which I expect/hope that you can understand. |
Original Post | The article asked me to be the first of my friends to like this, I WILL NOT, and hope all my friends will support the woman's choice. OMG What is next? |
