and thank you, Brother Flick, for those kind words. I knew I would start a small firestorm with that comment. Didn't think it would get personal.

My life has been good. My point was, I am just meeting most of you, as most of you were not old enough or had already left. Please don't take ANYTHING I say personally, but would you go to dinner 1500 miles away with a bunch of people, however connected, you don't really know?

I will pray for you James. It sounds like you have had a hard life. I wish you peace and fulfillment.

I got no idea who you people are. You went to school where I went to school. I only had 5 or 6 good friends. I ignored everyone else. Why should I fly to Austin or where ever to see people I never meet or knew? Ughh.

People that were my friends in Naples I would pick as my friends today I was just lucky to have meant them when I was young. Now they are family. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to be in contact. I agree with Louanne 100 percent and I feel very blessed.

Diane Pavelko and I just ate at the Settebello in Salt Lake City. I'd say the flavor was right on the money but the crust was too dense and soggy.

Okay here's a funky coincidence... the name of the pizzeria that George found, "Settebello", is the same as that of one of the postwar Italian motorbikes in the link John Thomas just posted. Whoa!

The PERFECT PIZZA?
It's been a while, but I finally found a perfect pizza Margherita that really tasted 100% like Napoli. This one was in the unlikely locale of Henderson, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas in a place called "Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana." And the place is certified by the VPN (Verace Pizza Napoletana Association), although I been to some VPN places like A16 in San Francisco, where the pizza wasn't too authentic. But this one was spot-on perfect. There are other Settebello pizza places, so this might be small chain, but the one in Henderson, NV, has it down to a science.

FORGET THOSE NEW FIAT 500s!
Instead of getting one of those all so trendy new Fiat 500s, try something like this, which would be a lot more fun and a whole lot cheaper: I found this totally restored 1966 Alfa Romeo Spider. Yeah, it's only a two seater (and the 500 is "supposedly" a 4-seater (assuming your back seat passengers are less than two years old), but this sucker rocks and I'm sure it's a lot more fun to drive. Anyway, here's the link in case you're in a shopping mood: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GIULIA-SPIDER-MATCH-NORMALE-RESTORED-RUNS-DRIVES-EXCELLENT-GIULIETTA-63-64-65-/320934610010?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4ab931845a#v4-42
